Do you want to be a Tarheel??

We had a big storm roll through last night, so we pulled out the video camera while we were all stuck inside. Jacks is very smart for an 18 month old...already able to answer simple yes/no questions correctly (granted, it is a very easy question):

After the rain stopped, we had to go out and splash in the puddles.

OK, here is the last of our posts from Corolla...it only took us 2 weeks for us to get around to posting it all...

Just a few random pictures from the week:

Sharkfest

This past weekend we went to Sharkfest at the Calvert Marine Museum (along with the rest of Southern MD!). Jacks enjoyed the turtles, blue crabs, and touching sharks. After a long wait in line to touch the sharks, Jacks had a case of the giggles on the way home. Thankfully we got home before he passed out for his afternoon nap.

Week in Corolla - Part 2

Here are a couple of videos from the beach last week. Jacks really loved the beach...it was flat and smooth so he could just run non-stop.

Suprisingly, Jacks wasn't afraid of the surf at all. He loved splashing his feet in each wave that came up.

And of course, we had to break out the bubbles for him one afternoon.

Week in Corolla

Here is the first of a couple of posts from our week in Corolla with my family. We'll make more posts later.
Here is Jacks discovering sand fiddlers and playing in the living room with his Great Aunt Sister.

Weekend in Oriental

Wow, I can't beleive it has been nearly a month since our last post...Sorry about that. We will definitely try to make it up over the next couple of days. We have had a great week and a half between Oriental and Corolla, NC. It was tough going back to work today!

Two weekends ago, we were in Oriental for the wedding of one of Joanna's friends, Jennifer Delamar. Jacks stayed with the Caroon's during the wedding, and had a great time playing with Clay, Christy, Cole, Mason and the "doggie" Blue.
